Tell us more about what you do here…
I’m a web designer, developer, and graphic artist at Robb Digital. I help make our new sites pretty, then use my coding skills to make sure they’re still pretty when you visit them on a phone, tablet, or computer. I create graphics in Photoshop and Illustrator, lay out our websites in WordPress, and use HTML, CSS, jQuery, and PHP to make them responsive.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
I like to spend time with friends and family, watch movies, and play video games. My wife and I are preparing our home for our first baby, though, so most of my free time recently has been devoted to that!
If you could live in any time in history, what would it be?
Right here, right now! There has never been a better time throughout history for a digital designer such as myself to thrive.
What is your favorite TV show?
There are too many to list! I’m a big fan of dramas like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and The Walking Dead, but I also love American comedies like The Goldbergs and Modern Family, British comedies like Black Books and The IT Crowd, and any reality shows starring Gordon Ramsay.
What is the favorite place you have visited? What was special about it?
My favorite place to visit was Ireland. Traveling up the coast by train, visiting lots of little pubs, meeting the locals, kissing the Blarney Stone, and taking in the sights of the beautiful country was one of the best trips of my life.
If you could get on a plane and go anywhere right now, where would you go? Why?
A tropical island resort so I could lay out in the sun, sip fancy drinks, and look out at the ocean without a care in the world.
What is your favorite social media platform or tool?
My favorite social media platform is Reddit. The amount of content that gets generated from its anonymous user-base is incredible and reaches far across the depths of the rest of the internet.
Who or what would you want to have with you on a deserted island?
My wife, my cat, and a dedicated high-speed internet connection so I could order deliveries from an Amazon drone.
What superpower would you like to have?
Flight, mainly so I could avoid the traffic when commuting to and from work.
